The Secret Is Not the Secret
The average length of unemployment in the US at the end of April 2014 was 35 weeks - and that's just the average! We all know people who have been in transition for far longer than that. But what about that other end of the spectrum? What about those who lose their job and seem to have a new one the same day - what are they doing differently? What can we do to shorten our own transitions?
The Secret is a New York Times bestselling book that came out in 2006. It has been featured on Oprah more than once and sold millions of copies in 50 languages. It explores the law of attraction, which essentially states that 'like attracts like'. The secret is that if you want positive things in your life then you need to think positively. If you think negatively, you will receive negative things back from the universe.
